A wedding at Schlossgut Lautenbach has everything a couple could wish for: a Neo-Renaissance castle, a sprawling park with old trees and a glass orangery that sits in the greenery by day and glows with candlelight at night. In June 2025, Nina & Mathias Eggenberger got married here, planned and designed by EPIC Weddings & Events. We at vonRock Events had the pleasure of furnishing the wedding with our rental pieces.
The concept: strictly black and white. Transparent chairs for the outdoor ceremony, black Wishbone chairs and matte black cutlery for dinner, plus floor-length linen tablecloths, black linen napkins and Mr. Ripley glasses. The venue
Schlossgut Lautenbach in Oedheim: Castle, Park and Orangery in One Place
Schlossgut Lautenbach is located in Oedheim in the district of Heilbronn, easy to reach from Heilbronn, Stuttgart and the Hohenlohe region. At its heart is a historic Neo-Renaissance castle ensemble with a courtyard, a festival barn and a large park.
For weddings, the orangery is the real highlight: a light-filled glass building surrounded by greenery. Because the walls and roof are glass, every decoration counts twice. What stands on the tables is reflected in the panes, and in the evening the room turns into a house of light. That is exactly why we chose a clean, reduced look that lets the architecture speak.
Practical for couples: the castle has double rooms, a bridal suite and its own getting-ready room. The whole day takes place on one estate, with no shuttles and no change of location. And if a peacock crosses your path during the photo shoot: Alfons and Adelbert are permanent residents of the estate.
Getting ready in the castle
The day began in the getting-ready room with tall arched windows and parquet floors. This is where the Milla Nova dress was waiting, where La Chia did the styling and where the first emotional moments of the day happened.
Chair rental
Outdoor Ceremony in the Park: Transparent Chairs, Rose Arch and Parasols
The couple said “I do” under old trees in the estate’s park. For an outdoor ceremony in a green setting, there is hardly a better chair than the transparent acrylic chair: it almost disappears into the lawn and lets the flowers, the dress and the landscape shine.

Event Elfe built an arch of white roses and framed the rows of chairs with clouds of blossoms. In the June sun, the paper parasols were a real blessing for the guests, and you can rent them from us too.

An idea that only works with a light chair that can be placed freely. Our transparent chairs are stackable, suitable for outdoor use and quick to set up, which makes them just as good for ceremonies in a park as in a hall.

Champagne reception
Champagne reception in front of the castle
After the vows, everyone walked along the gravel path to the castle. With champagne, live saxophone and percussion by Positivo Music, the congratulations began, and the bridesmaids in black raised their paper parasols into the air. Our cream parasols provided shade for the guests in the park.
Table decor rental
Dinner in the Orangery: Black & White Table Decor to Rent
In the orangery, long banquet tables and round tables stood side by side. This gives the room rhythm and makes every table feel a little different. The foundation was our linen tablecloths in Macchiato Beige: floor-length, lightly textured and warm in tone. In the glass orangery, pure white would quickly have felt cold, while Macchiato Beige picks up the warm wooden floor.

With their curved backrests, the black Wishbone chairs draw a clear line around every table. Together with the black steel of the orangery, they create a graphic look that works beautifully in photos.

Tableware
Matte black cutlery and Mr. Ripley glasses
We carried the black-and-white concept right down to the place settings. Our matte black cutlery sits on the light table linen like a graphic. Each guest had a 6-piece set, plus starter cutlery and a second dinner fork and knife for the main course.
For glassware, the choice was Mr. Ripley in clear: wine and water glasses that catch the candlelight beautifully. Together with Event Elfe’s white roses and the tall candles in glass cylinders, the result is a table that feels modern without being cold.

The evening
Pasta from a wheel of Parmesan, strawberry cake and a packed dance floor
Palmeri Catering tossed the pasta right inside a wheel of Parmesan, and Konditorei Fahrbach set up a dessert buffet and a strawberry cake. After the first dance, the live band from Positivo Music took over. Later in the evening Nina changed into her party dress, and the orangery turned into a club under a canopy of lights.

Corporate Events at Schlossgut Lautenbach: the Concept for Companies
What works for a wedding also works for a corporate event at Schlossgut Lautenbach. The orangery is ideal for gala dinners, summer parties and client events, the festival barn for conferences and evening functions, and the park for outdoor receptions. With overnight accommodation in the castle, two-day formats are possible too.
For companies, we furnish complete dinners: chairs, tables, table linen, cutlery and glassware in large quantities, with set-up and dismantling if you like.
Decor rental Heilbronn
Wedding Decor Rental for Heilbronn, Stuttgart and Hohenlohe
All items for this wedding came from our southern warehouse in Elzach/Waldkirch. We delivered on Friday morning and collected everything on Saturday after the wedding. During dismantling we gathered the tablecloths and stacked the chairs, and we take care of the final cleaning of tableware and textiles. That is how it worked for Nina & Mathias, and that is how it can work for you.

The estate consists of the historic castle, the glass orangery, the Ochsenstall (former cattle barn), the castle courtyard, a festival barn and a large park with old trees. Indoor and outdoor areas can be combined freely.
How many guests does the orangery hold?
According to the venue, the orangery is designed for parties of around 60 to 150 people. At the wedding of Nina & Mathias, 75 guests sat at long banquet tables and round tables.
Can you stay overnight at Schlossgut Lautenbach?
Yes. The estate has nine double rooms, a bridal suite and a getting-ready room or salon overlooking the orangery, so the couple and closest family can stay on site.
Which group does Schlossgut Lautenbach belong to?

Weddings at Schlossgut Lautenbach
Can you get married at Schlossgut Lautenbach?
Yes. Outdoor ceremonies take place in the park under old trees, with a view of the castle. The celebration then moves to the orangery. Whether a civil ceremony is possible on site is best clarified directly with the venue.
What happens to the ceremony and reception if it rains?
A light-coloured stretch tent is available for the outdoor ceremony in the park. In good weather the champagne reception takes place in the courtyard between the orangery and the castle; in bad weather it moves to the Ochsenstall.
What is included in the venue’s wedding package?
The estate offers an all-inclusive package. According to the venue it includes rental of the orangery, Ochsenstall and park including cleaning, event management during planning and on the wedding day, trained service staff, food and drinks at flat rates, the set-up for the outdoor ceremony, the champagne reception, event technology with sound system, microphone and HD projector, and basic table decoration.
Why rent extra decor if the package includes table decoration?
The venue’s basic table decor consists of beige cloth napkins, glasses, cutlery and menu cards. If you want your own look, you can add or replace individual pieces: black or gold cutlery, floor-length linen tablecloths, coloured linen napkins, special glassware, Wishbone or transparent chairs, candle holders and lounge furniture. That is exactly how the black-and-white concept of Nina & Mathias came about.
How does catering work?
The venue works with catering partners. Options include a plated menu, a buffet, live cooking or food trucks outdoors. Food and drinks are charged at transparent flat rates.
Can I bring my own vendors?
The estate recommends vendors via the LOMA Select platform. Which external partners are possible in addition is something to agree early with your contact at the venue. This wedding shows that external rental partners like us can supply furniture and tableware.
Which private celebrations are possible besides weddings?
The estate also hosts birthdays, christenings, anniversaries and family celebrations. The pieces shown in this article work just as well for those.
Corporate events
Is Schlossgut Lautenbach suitable for corporate events?
Yes. The venue offers summer parties, conferences, incentives, exclusive dinners in the orangery and a company Christmas party as a winter village with wooden huts and food trucks in the castle courtyard.
What technology and seating are available for conferences?
According to the venue, the basic equipment includes speakers, a wireless microphone, an HD projector and Wi-Fi across the grounds. Theatre-style and banquet seating are possible. If you need a special chair model or high tables in larger quantities, we can supply them.
How many people can attend large corporate events?
For large events, the festival barn and a marquee can be added. With mobile event structures in the castle courtyard, the venue says events for around 500 people are possible.

How early should I reserve rental items?
For weddings between May and September, we recommend reserving chairs, table linen and tableware as early as possible, as soon as your date and guest count are set. Quantities can usually still be adjusted later.
How many guests did Nina & Mathias have?
We equipped 75 guests: 75 transparent chairs for the ceremony, 75 Wishbone chairs for dinner and tableware for 75 place settings.

The rose arch, the white roses in tall glass cylinders and the clouds of blossoms along the tables are by Event Elfe. Kept entirely in white, the flowers perfectly balanced the black accents of our chairs and cutlery.

From saxophone and percussion at the champagne reception to the live band in the orangery, Positivo Music kept the energy high. The dance floor stayed full until late at night.

The groom's suit came from VIPs Men's Fashion. Classic, perfectly tailored and just right for a black-and-white wedding.

La Chia took care of the bridal styling: natural, glowing make-up and an elegant updo that lasted from getting ready to the party.
Milla Nova & Lunardi Cerimonia
The off-the-shoulder wedding dress with a long train is by Milla Nova, complemented by Lunardi Cerimonia. Clean lines, plenty of fabric and a big impact on the lawn in front of the orangery.
