Minimalistic Wedding Setup
The wedding photography workshops by Vicky Baumann are always a highlight for us. Rarely does anyone manage to stage our rental items as well as they do. The interplay of wedding design, models, floristry and photography is breathtaking again this time.
The monochrome wedding setup was realized in Loft No. 6 in Cologne, which offers the perfect canvas for such a shoot due to its minimalist, industrial charm. Let yourself be inspired by this blog story and discover how well earthy and dark shades can fit into wedding designs.
Ghost Style Armrest Chairs in Focus
The wedding concept by Kristina Höfler from Bespoke Design and Pia Zimmermann from Perfect Plan attaches great importance to a warm, cosy atmosphere. At first glance, this may seem like a contrast to the cool color concept, but the use of earthy tones and lots of candlelight makes it a harmonious overall picture. The central aspect of the setup are the transparent Victoria Ghost chairs, which we offer for rent in our event rental. These leave enough space for the elaborately decorated dinner table to have an effect.
Candlelight brings warmth
The central element of the table is a dark runner that covers the entire length of the table and extends to the floor. In combination with the floor-length linen tablecloths in Macchiato Beige from our event rental, a harmonious basis for candles and floristry develops here. The colour concept, which is close to the grey tone spectrum, is continued in the tableware and cutlery.

Elegant colour concept
White & gold are typical colors with which the term “wedding” is associated. Pia Zimmermann and Kristina Höfler, on the other hand, prove that you can also dare to have the courage to use darker tones. The cutlery in black is just as eye-catching as the napkins and the runner in dark grey.
Elaborate floristry with dried elements
Instead of a classic wedding arch, this wedding setup relies on an elaborate, floral structure – the perfect background for the wedding ceremony. The wedding bouquetry from Düsseldorf combined classic floristry with elements of dried flowers for this floral decoration. In terms of colour, the whole thing is set in light white and beige tones, which are broken up by the dark pampas grass.
Stylized stationery
The stationery color scheme fits perfectly with the rest of the setup – the abstract shapes in black and white are reminiscent of the style of the film noire. While the menu cards are kept white so as not to attract too much focus on the dinner table, the invitations inspire with rich, dark tones – definitely eye-catching and special.
Lightness in wedding dresses
The wedding dress by A.T. Moda Sposa looks almost weightless in these pictures. The dresses impress with elaborate embroidery and elegant appliqués that bring lightness to the appearance. In addition, there is the discreet make-up by make-up artist Nina Nolepa, which provides the last bit of perfection – making the pictures a real eye-catcher.
Beauty is in the details
You can see how much love this wedding setup has been designed with. Photographer Vicky Baumann finally managed to capture the entire beauty of this concept in her pictures. As part of this workshop, interested parties were able to learn from the trained eye of the wedding photographer.
Unique Cake
This wedding cake from Pennycakes inspires with its marbled coating and unique accessories. Especially the semi-transparent centerpiece attracts attention – you really rarely see something like it. Elegantly served on a black étagère, carried by the Lucy Wire Bar Table from our event rental – this is certainly a highlight in the room.
